Michael Johnston and Miguel DeJesus from Grammy-nominated and highly revered christian pop/rock band Smalltown Poets are on the podcast! In the late 90's and beyond these guys were a huge influence musically for me, and they're still one of the few bands from "back in the day" where their writing and records TOTALLY hold up. They've had three number one singles, a total of TEN top ten radio hits which helped garner two Best Rock Gospel Grammy nominations, seven Dove Award nominations (including best new artist) and a Billboard Music video award! Even today they continue to write great, interesting, and thoughtful records. I went down to Georgia (not with the Devil) to chat with the guys and we had a great chat!
